| News Florida Players Announces Our Fall 2012 Proposed* Season "Jeffrey" by Paul Rudnick "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" by Steve Martin New Works Festival *Producing these selections is contingent upon availability of rights. APM Applications Assistant Production Manager applications are now up! Select a format to download: PDF/Doc Florida Players is now accepting proposals for the Fall 2012 season! Our season will feature two straight plays and the New Works Festival. Proposals are due Monday, March 19th at 11:59 PM. Please see our "Shows" tab for proposal paperwork. We will be hosting a workshop/forum on Tuesday, February 28th from 6:30pm-8:00pm in G-12 of the Nadine McGuire Pavilion to discuss how to create a strong proposal and answer any questions regarding our selection process. It is highly recommended that anyone planning on proposing a show attend this workshop. Please contact Lexi DuFries at productionmanager@floridaplayers.org with questions regarding proposals. Florida Players is a student-run theater company that provides opportunities for students to explore the world of theatre and showcase their works in doing so. Florida Players is open to all University of Florida students, regardless of their major and is sponsored by UF Student Government. Florida Players offers students opportunities in all aspects of theatre, including direction, design, performance, and playwriting, as well as leadership positions. |
