Florida Players membership is based on student involvement. The table at
left shows the point distribution for the most common activities involved
in Florida Players. Any involvement in Florida Players earns non-voting membership.
To become a member, you will need to earn seven points. Once you earn voting
membership, it only takes four points to retain membership. The Florida Players
secretary keeps track of point totals.
If you are interested in becoming a Florida Players member, you will need
to fill out a Membership Application.

Resume Building
Florida Players provides opportunities to build your resume in areas such as performance, design, directing, etc.
Discounted Theatre Tickets
Florida Players will be planning group trips to performances at the Phillips
Center for the Performing Arts and the Hippodrome State Theatre.
Discounted Banquet Tickets
Florida Players holds an annual banquet to which Florida Players members
receive a discounted ticket price.
Group Fun
Florida Players will be planning social outings, and it will be an opportunity
to spend time with people who enjoy the same activities.
Workshops
Florida Players provides workshops for its members, including guest speakers
and monologue/song workshops. |
